Oops, we decided to interview ourselves, after the mac mini mishap! Chris and I chat about news, Steelpixel, and things we are working on.
Aggregate your online self. Meecard combines all of your web presences into what they call a snippet of “youness”. Here you can gather together all your social networking profiles, articles and publications, blogs, links, photos, videos, and more, into one mashup. Your mashup is given a unique address that you can share with colleagues, friends, and family. Meecard is currently in private beta, although they are accepting invite requests via the website.
Here is my understanding of the different types of designers:
Artist: How do I make a farting bird?
Graphic Designer: How do we make this icon or logo or font communicate?
Information Designer: How do we lay out this static page so it communicates?
