Who needs google

call me stupid if you want but I have been using del.icio.us for a while and never bothered to use the search function.

Today I was googling away trying to get a site for handling remote cron jobs, after trying a few different word combos I got my results. Now it dawned on me to try del.icio.us and I did, to my surprise I got pretty good results, no where near as many as google but I felt the quality of them was better.

The reason I think the results were better than what came out of google is simple, the del.icio.us results are picked by humans.

You have to wonder if Yahoo are going to tap into this great resource for adding value to pages within their search results.

Anyone know of a mashup site that will give me, Google, Wikipedia and Delicious in one go?
